Soph was born in 1990 and initially lived in Cleethorpes on Humberside. These were the years of endless trips and adventures with her great friends Amber and Alice.
I recognize that I am an old git now, however on 3rd September 2017 it was time to pretend to be young again and run the Humber Coastal Half Marathon in memory of Soph whilst raising awareness and funds for Anthony Nolan.
Amber had kindly offered me a chance to enter the run and join the Anthony Nolan team with Donna, Jo and Yasmin. I realised that I was in tough company with the sub two hour girls, but the weather was very kind to us and we all made it back in one piece. Thanks to Donna for hosting us, and all the team for making me feel incredibly welcome whilst teaching me a thing or two about running ….
